Dr. Rashmi Kamran serves as a Senior Technical Advisor at Free Stream Technologies while also leading scientific initiatives as the Chief Scientist at AdCore Local LLC in Atlanta, USA. She has been involved in research and standardization activities in the area of Wireless Broadcasting and Cellular systems (Architectural advancements towards beyond 5G/6G) for the last 6 years at IITB Bombay before joining Free Stream and AdCore Local. She developed expertise in high-speed optical coherent systems during her doctoral research at IIT Bombay. With over a decade of experience as a faculty member at engineering institutions, she has authored and co-authored numerous publications in reputed journals and conferences. Additionally, she has made significant contributions to global standards bodies, including 3GPP, IEEE, ITU, and TSDSI.

She is also a recipient of “TSDSI Outstanding Technical Contributions Award FY 2023-24” and was also recognized among the “100 Brilliant and Inspiring Women in 6G” (2024) by Women in 6G™. She is serving as Co-Chair for NWG 13 and as Associate rapporteur for Q2 in ITU-T SG13. At Free Stream, she is leading global standardization efforts in TSDSI, ITU-T, 3GPP, and ATSC towards B2X technology and its convergence with Mobile Networks.
